Description
A beautiful and intimate 18th-century landscape garden, created by local entrepreneur Ralph Allen with advice from the poet Alexander Pope and ‘Capability’ Brown, and set in a sweeping valley with magnificent views of the City of Bath. The many interesting features include a Palladian bridge and three lakes. The restoration of the garden is continuing. Prior Park College, a co-educational school, operates from the mansion (not NT).

2nd January - 7th February: Saturday & Sunday, 11 am - dusk
13th February - 31st October: daily except Tuesday, 11 am - 5.30 pm
6th November - 26th December: Saturday & Sunday, 11 am - dusk
Last admission 1 hour before closing
Closes at dusk if it is earlier than 5.30
Closed: 25th December.
Kiosk:
14th February - 1st November: Saturday & Sunday, 11.30 am - 4.30 pm
The Kiosk is also open school holidays, events and Bank Holidays.
