A delightful series of walled gardens, surrounding a charming 18th-century house. The largest features herbaceous beds with wonderful colour combinations and a superb ornamental kitchen garden.
The Nymphaeum, with its developing hedges can be viewed from the steps. It is regretted that work is still ongoing in the lake field due to large wet areas and will open in midsummer principally for special events. The gardens are open by kind permission of the lessee.
Note: The house is privately tenanted and not open to visitors. The garden has limited visitor facilities.
Opening Times - 2010:
3rd April - 11th September: Wednesday & Saturday, 11 am - 4 pm
Last admission 30 minutes before closing.
