Description
Spectacularly set in a stream-fed valley on a beautiful stretch of the North South Devon coastline, the house was designed in 1925 for Rupert & Lady Dorothy D’Oyly Carte, who created the luxuriant garden around it.
The house reflects the Arts & Crafts tradition, but has refreshingly modern interiors; the garden has year-round interest with a gazebo, water features and fine collection of rare and exotic plants.
